The Mitchells VS The Machines

So excited to share The Mitchells VS The Machines official movie poster!

I had the pleasure to work with Production Designer Lindsey Olivares, Art Director Toby Wilson, and Director Michael Rianda on this long marketing journey for the film we once called Connected. This poster was a team effort, the background was done by Andrew Kim and the Katie Vision was illustrated by Lily Nishita. The car, characters, and bots were painted by myself at a massive 10K resolution (10K pixels for the car and characters alone!) Can't wait for everyone to see the film on Netflix when it comes out TODAY, April 30th!

Though I was able to knock out dozens of concept sketches, a stack of ultra HD character promo illustrations (10K pixels per character), and this beast of a poster, I'm currently unable to share any of the work or process art at this time. Hopefully I'll be able to share more soon! The vehicle painting alone stretches 10,000PX and was used everywhere from billboards to city tower scrolls. Can't wait for you to catch the movie!
