Key Art for Across the Spider-Verse - Miguel 2099

Honored to share the Key Art I did for Miguel 2099 on the international movie posters for Across the Spider-Verse. This one was a big deal for me as the image was plastered everywhere in all the big cities, so amazing to have worked with a large talented team on this poster. I was working solely on Miguel throughout the marketing campaign, he just happens to be my favorite character too!

This character was perfect for my art style. I love the mix of painterly with glitch effect, and the sketchy quality of his line art. It was very fun to recreate in HD (14K pixels!) using some of my hand-painted oil paint textures and custom painterly brushes. Looking forward to seeing more from Miguel!
